Privacy Policy for Generative Particle Art App
Effective Date: May 15, 2026
At Jova, we built our generative particle art app around one core principle: your creative work and personal privacy should never be compromised for the sake of using a creative tool. We designed Jova to work entirely offline for all core creative features, so you can draw, tweak parameters, import reference images, and save your art without ever sending any of your personal or creative data to our servers.
This privacy policy lays out exactly what (very little) information we may collect, how we use it, and how you retain full control over all your data when using Jova.
First and foremost: we do NOT collect any of your creative work or personal identifiable information as part of standard app usage:
The only extremely limited information we may ever collect is:
We only use the small amount of information we collect for the following purposes:
Jova may include optional integrations with third-party platforms (for example, options to share your finished art directly to social media or messaging apps). Please note that when you use these optional sharing features, any information you choose to share through those platforms is governed by the privacy policy of the respective third-party service, and we have no control over their data practices.
We do not share any of your personal or creative data with these third parties automatically, and all sharing actions are initiated exclusively by you.
You have full, unrestricted control over all data associated with your use of Jova:
We have implemented industry-standard technical safeguards to protect the small amount of data we may collect, and designed Jova to minimize data transmission to our servers by default. Your locally stored creative data is protected by your device's built-in security features (passcodes, biometric locks, encryption), and we do not have access to this content.
While we take all reasonable steps to protect your information, no digital security system is completely impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted voluntarily over the internet.
Jova is intended for use by users of all ages, but we do not knowingly collect any personal identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and become aware that your child has provided us with personal information, you can contact us immediately and we will promptly delete all such records from our systems.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes to our app features, data practices, or community requirements. When we make updates, we will revise the effective date listed at the top of this policy and notify you of changes via an in-app notice the next time you open Jova. Your continued use of the app after updates are posted constitutes your agreement to the revised terms.
